Katrin Kuldma established her design studio in 1993. Soon she was invited to become the head designer of Tallinn Fashion House. In a few years the couture department of Tallinn Fashion House was sold to head designer. She united her own small design studio with the fashion house with long traditions and best couturiers. This was start of the first designer label fashion house of the new and free Estonia. With following years the small design studio has grown to a high tech luxury brand with numerous clientele, including both men and women. In 2006 Katrin Kuldma was awarded with the Estonian Fashion Design award Golden Needle.
In 2010 launched Amanjeda brand was created to connect all love and knowledge of fine fabrics, design and technology into one concept – Nordic design knowledge and crafts connected with the finest fabrics of the world.
Within the last years the Amanjeda collections have successfully entered to the Milan fashion scene. Amanjeda Winter 2015 women’s ready to wear collection was presented during Milan Fashion Week in February 2014. The collection was chosen into multi brand concept store Piave 37, Milan. The boutique was curated by Dolce & Gabbana Corporation and was hosting a selection of new emerging international designers.
In December 2014 Amanjeda opened its flagship store in Tallinn. From the December 2019 Amanjeda store and studios are located inside the Northern Luxury Brands Gallery -
